About us

The 4our Pillars are the foundation of Hip Hop; each pillar represents one of the following:

Aerosol Art, MC’s, DJ’s and last but by no means least, B-Boys.

Many people claim to be involved in Hip Hop but only seem to represent one or two of the 4our Pillars. Hip Hop culture is EVERYWHERE and has touched EVERY genre of music. If the truth be told, Hip Hop is more than a culture; it’s a way of life and what we aim to bring to you at the 4our Pillars events are nights of pure Hip Hop in its true essence, whether you’re from the old school or the new school, we are one and all are welcome.

The first of the 4our Pillars events was held on June 22nd 2012 at the Underdog Gallery, Crucifix Lane, London SE1 3JW and was a success. Performing on the night were Son of Noise, MCM (from Caveman) and Kamanchi Sly (formerly of Hijack), DJ Biznizz, Bunny Bread and live BBoying from the UK’s No.1 crew, The Soul Mavericks.

There was also aerosol art by Mode 2 from the legendary Chrome Angelz who flew in to the country to support the cause, ArtJaz, Lovegrove, Airheads and Hatch.

The Aerosol Art will be auctioned at a later date and the proceeds will be donated to The Prince’s Foundation for Children and The Arts.

Organisers of the 4our Pillars events aim to team up with peers from the Hip Hop scene to perform to their fans for the love of Hip Hop culture and nothing else…

Please spread the word by sharing this page and/or by word of mouth and we hope to see at the next event
